Abstract
The long-awaited overhaul of the dated Mac OS came out in March 2001. Dubbed Mac OS X, it brought the necessary features of a modern operating system while dropping much of the baggage of its 17. Java is a high-level programming language originally developed by Sun Microsystems and released in 1995. Java runs on a variety of platforms, such as Windows, Mac OS, and the various versions of UNIX. This tutorial gives a complete understanding of Java.
Brian O'Connor writes about his father, who was killed in Viet Nam. He methodically documents his father's battle with Viet Cong forces, recreates the circumstances that led to his death, and describes his unquenchable to-the-death devotion to his squad. Lieutenant Colonel Mortimer Lenane O'Connor, the son concludes, was 'a gung-ho infantry officer, a West Pointer with a sense of gallows humor who believed that large-force engagements were the quickest way to conclude the war.' Earlier this year the University of Pennsylvania awarded his father posthumously a doctorate for the thesis he was working on when he put everything aside and did what he thought was the right thing to do.

From the Preface
The small groups of believers must have been very concerned. Here they were, far from Jerusalem, the founding center of the church and of their faith, dispersed in the regions of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia (what is now Turkey). Did the persecution which was increasing mean that they were on the wrong road? Had they taken a false turning? Had they given their allegiance to Jesus as a false Messiah? If not, then why would these things still be happening?
What's more, weren't they in the last days? Hadn't the death and resurrection of Jesus ushered in the kingdom of God? Then why were pagans still ruling? Why was Jesus himself not on the throne? Why the delay? People were scoffing and ridiculing them. Things seemed to be going on in the world just as before with no difference, said those mocking them. So the believers wondered, Should we be listening to new teachers instead of to the gospel message we originally heard? In response to this situation, Peter wrote two letters.
Finally, in this guide, we include the letter traditionally known as Jude.Judah told his readers that he had been going to write about 'the rescue in which we share'--God's rescue of us in Jesus the Messiah, the great saving acts which all Christian teachers love to celebrate. But he had to put those plans on hold, because it appeared that the church had been infiltrated with people teaching what was basically a different message altogether. And the ordinary Christians, with no long centuries of experience behind them in the church, were deeply vulnerable. If new teaching sounded exciting and fun, why not give it a try? Sszb mac os. No, says Judah: it's time to put your climbing ropes on. These rocks are dangerous and difficult. It's time to struggle hard for the faith which was once and for all given to God's people.

About the Author(s)
N. T. Wright, formerly bishop of Durham in England, is research professor of New Testament and early Christianity at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He was formerly canon theologian of Westminster Abbey and dean of Lichfield Cathedral. He also taught New Testament studies for twenty years at Cambridge, McGill and Oxford Universities. Wright's full-scale works The New Testament and the People of God, Jesus and the Victory of God and The Resurrection of the Son of God are part of a projected six-volume series titled Christian Origins and the Question of God. Among his many other published works are Surprised by Hope and Simply Christian.
